There is no such thing as perfect.

There is no such thing as perfect.

If you keep going for perfection you will never be content.

This is because you’ll always think there’s something more, there’s something better you could have done. And this will either lead you to burnout – because you keep until you reach this ‘perfection’ that doesn’t exist.

Either that or you will never actually start something in the first place – because the conditions weren’t right, they weren’t perfect.

My request is, if this means anything to you – as it does to me, next time dial down your perfectionism maybe to 90% instead of 100%. See what happens. See if anyone notices. See how much time and energy you save.

Also, own and celebrate your achievements along the way and learn to embrace your failures. It’s how we all learn. You don’t have to be perfect.
